But thou that knowest all things, knowest that they have arisen against us without a cause. Wherefore we unworthy sinners in repentance and tears beseech thee: help us, O God our Saviour, and deliver us for the glory of thy Name, lest our enemies say: God hath forsaken them, and there is none to deliver and save them. But let all the nations know that thou art our God, and we are thy people, who are ever preserved by thy might. Almighty God, who hast given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplications unto thee, and dost promise that when two or three are gathered together in thy name thou wilt grant their requests; fulfil now O Lord the desires and petitions of thy servants as may be most expedient for them, granting us in this world knowledge of thy truth, and in the world to come life everlasting. Amen.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be with us all evermore. Amen.

Give rest, O Christ, to thy servants with thy saints: where sorrow and pain are no more: neither sighing but life everlasting. Thou only art merciful, the Creator and maker ofman: and we are mortal formed of the earth, and unto earth shall we return: for so thou didst ordain when thou createdst me, saying, Dust thou art and unto dust shalt thou return. Give them rest in a place of brightness, a place of verdure, a place of repose, whence all sickness, sorrow, and sighing have fled away. Pardon every transgression which they have committed, whether by word or deed or thought. For thou art a good God, who lovest mankind: because there is no man that liveth and sinneth not: for thou only art without sin, and thy righteousness is to all eternity, and the repose of thy departed servants, O Christ our God, and unto thee we ascribe glory, together with thy Father, who is from everlasting, and thine all holy and good and life-giving Spirit, now and ever, world without end.
